In the third quarter of 2025, the top travel and local apps in South Africa demonstrated varied performance trends on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for each app.

Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map from Instabridge Sweden AB showed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, peaking at over 36K in mid-July. Revenue saw a significant increase towards the end of July, reaching approximately $15. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, ranging between 63K and 77K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel maintained a consistent download trend, with figures hovering around 15K to 17K. The app also experienced a stable active user base, averaging around half a million throughout the quarter.
